When we asked Jennifer what made her decide to work in purchasing, she replied with a smile:
"I've always had an interest in logistics, but over time I got hooked on purchasing as well, so I chose to train and specialize in it. The role gives me the opportunity to make new contacts, make exciting purchases and enjoy varied working days. Meeting new people also makes the job extra rewarding and fun!"

No two days are the same for Jennifer, and that's exactly what she loves about the job.
"The best thing about working at Amabilia is that no two days are the same - there's always something new and exciting happening. We are also a great team that supports each other and has fun together," she says.

"Relationship building, exciting and interesting. Relationship building because my job involves creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and partners. Exciting because every day brings new challenges and opportunities, and interesting because I am constantly learning new things in purchasing and logistics."

In her role as a purchasing and logistics manager, Jennifer faces both exciting and challenging situations. When asked about the most unexpected thing she's experienced, she shares insights from the times delays have put pressure on deliveries.

"The most challenging part is when delays occur and customers expect their goods on time. That's when you have to find solutions quickly and ensure that their needs are met. It requires both flexibility and patience, but it's also these situations that make the job exciting and challenging," explains Jennifer.

When the working day is over

When Jennifer isn't juggling shopping and logistics, you'll probably find her with her family at the playground or looking for her next Asian food adventure.
"I'm an incurable fanatic when it comes to Asian food - there's always time for a new sushi place!" she happily admits.
